Introducing Xperia PLAY

We've heard of the PlayStation phone for months, and it turns out that the leaked pictures and footage was right all along. Named the official Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY-we assume only to confuse the phone made its debut at a rather creepy ad during the Super Bowl last night. commercial depicts an elderly Japanese man thumb stitches realistic look to the mascot of the Google Android. The result is disturbing, to say the least, but then we could see the phone, which is actually pretty slick. Hopefully more gameplay footage and details will arrive soon.

Interestingly, the phone does not appear to have the shoulder buttons, but has two circular pads that we assume a double for the control rods of some kind. It's unknown exactly how, or how good, touchpad controls work.

Play PlayStation Xperia mobile phone is not exactly, but the PlayStation certified, which means that he will have access to the PlayStation exclusive library of software titles separate from the Android market. It is unknown how many devices are planned for the PlayStation certified, and if the hardware control buttons are required for such certification. Then there are questions about the manufacturer. Sony will open a shop for other Android maker?

Sony's first confirmed this phone is on the way during his opening of the Sony PSP2, now called Sony's Next Generation Portable (NGP). So far, it seems that almost all the features necessary to survive.

What do you think of the first PlayStation phone compatible? Did you buy the phone mostly for gaming? Is it important enough for you?
